Installation Guide |

GlobalMMCS systems can be installed in Linux and Windows. It depends
upon Apache Ant to complete the installations. Before you begin to
install the system, a clear idea of GlobalMMCS architecture may help
you a lot. The following picture displays the architecture.
Note that the GlobalMMCS has five modules: web server, media server, session server, H323 gateway and RealStreaming gateway. All the servers have to copied to the right places and carefully configured to make them work together. In order to simplify the installation, a single configuration file named "build.properties" is provided. The administrator only needs to specify the arguments in that file. And run Apache Ant which automatically complete the configurations in five modules. More arguments are included in the module packages but beginner don't need to care about them because the default values have been set. Refer to Installation Guide for details. |

Administration Guide |

| After the installation is finished, the administrator has to go
to the bin directories in each module and start up servers by
running
script files.

H.323, RealPlayer.
